COVID19 has changed both the wedding and restaurant industry beyond recognition. It has presented them both with the biggest challenge they are ever likely to face, but by coming together they can not only adapt but thrive.
Not only can you profit from the venue hire fees and increase in bar sales that wedding events bring, but they offer a low-cost opportunity to showcase your venue to potentially hundreds of guests who may have been unfamiliar with you before now – such marketing value should not be underestimated.
With a backlog of more than 20,000 weddings to take place in the coming years, new entrants in the wedding industry have the opportunity to use this explosion in demand to successfully launch their wedding services.
Wedding trends post-COVID19 are moving toward non-religious ceremonies, toward smaller guest numbers and toward more distinctive venues. Alternative venues such as restaurants are uniquely positioned to cater to the individual style, budget, and wedding numbers of the post-COVID19 bride.
Whether you are looking to host your first wedding or wondering how to make your current wedding business more profitable, our start to finish approach allows you to create a unique wedding package and maximise your events calendar without any of the hassle of organising the events themselves.

Our work for Paddy’s Bar & Restaurant focused on two goals:
The Micro Wedding Package we designed takes all the best features of a Paddy’s wedding and adapts them to a smaller guest list, while still ensuring the events are profitable for the venue.
By carefully co-ordinating the booking calendar we were able to open up the venue for year round wedding events and not interfere with regular trade.
For their existing marquee wedding package, we were able to cut the costs by 40% in the first year by carefully co-coordinating their events calendar to maximise profits from the event and enhance existing trade.
We have also designed and are implementing a marketing campaign to promote both wedding packages that combines print, social media and event based marketing strategies, with the first Venue Showcase set to take place in June of 2022.
